The SSCo programme has benefited Wembley High students by introducing natinally recognised coaching awards to the curriculum like the Community and Junior Sports Leaders Awards. The awards provide opportunities to gain experience of coaching young children and organising tournaments for those children to perform in. Sports Leaders have then gone on to use their expertise by running breakfast, lunch and after school sports clubs at Wembley High and coaching in local primary schools.
As a PE Department, we are very proud of the exciting and varied curriculum available to students, which is supported by a vast range of extra curricular activities and the "Move It" scheme. The "No Note" policy guarantees all students get changed for their PE classes and 100% participation has been created in all lessons.
