At Anson, more students than ever are participating in competitions and festivals offered through the SSCO scheme. Students have gone on to the London Youth Games, 2005, from these events.  Staff members are now Level One Coaching certificate holders or trained in sports not previously offered to students outside school hours. Places in these clubs are now highly sought after and include Judo, Basketball, Football, Tag Rugby and Netball.

Participation and successes are celebrated at Anson through assemblies and visitors to our school can see and hear about these events from the children themselves.

Rachel Yankee, Arsenal and England's Nationwide Women 's International Football Player of the Year for 2005 currently coaches students in Years 3 to 6 twice a week.

Anson is very proud of the achievements of its students in sport and the level of sportsmanship and participation are to be congratulated.
